SPITE: Threads of Fate

As a fallen shieldmaiden denied Valhalla, you awaken in Helheim with nothing but your hammer and fury. Fight through the undead hordes and reweave your threads of fate.

Level export and import

This was the first game in our own engine. My first task was to set up the pipeline for importing and exporting the levels our level designers made in Unreal Engine. A big part of this was getting the correct size, positions, and rotations due to how Unreal Engine and our own BGGE Engine had different coordinate systems.

UI

My second task was to build the UI system.

And to do that I set out to make an external UI Editor tool to simplify the creations of menus. A lot of time was spent on building the framework for how the menus should work and turning the external editor to be something that was work-friendly and had the capabilities we needed.
