Grim the Gargoyle King
As a gargoyle brought to life, embark on a crystal hunt. Charge through the shattered castle and find enough supporters to become king.
Visual Scripting
The first task on this project was to set up the visual scripting system we were going to use. This was a bigger job then first expected due to how the engines different projects was set up. This became a team effort to fix sooner rather then later so that we didn’t stall the projects for the rest of the group.
After this was done I started to implement some basic nodes while working with our designers for what they wanted to do with the visual scrip system.
UI
Then I started to work on the UI where I had the HUD drop down from the edge of the screen when the player picked up some collectables.
Then it was back to making menus where first I refactored the menu-system to use the new render-system Frederik implemented. This was followed by implementing new ways to render menu text and adding checkboxes and sliders both in engine and support for this in the UI Editor
